FIVE (5) PHASE TREATMENT SERVICE REQUIREMENTS

 

Phase 1: Suppression of Substance Abuse Behavior (minimum of 2 weeks)

 

1. One hour substance abuse/stress management groups five times per week (focused on cognitive behavioral relapse prevention approaches to abstinence and sobriety, deep muscle relaxation, imagery relaxation techniques, biofeedback, meditation, acupuncture, etc.)

 

2. Individual counseling as needed, required by treatment plan or authorized by the Drug Court Staff (DCS)

 

Phase 2: Motivation (minimum of 2 weeks)

 

1. One hour substance abuse/stress management groups three times per week (focused on cognitive behavioral relapse prevention approaches to abstinence and sobriety, deep muscle relaxation, imagery relaxation techniques, biofeedback, meditation, acupuncture, etc.)

 

2. Individual counseling as needed, required by treatment plan or authorized by the Drug Court Staff (DCS)

 

Phase 3: Primary Treatment (minimum of 12 weeks)

 

1. One hour substance abuse/stress management groups two times per week (focused on cognitive behavioral relapse prevention approaches to abstinence and sobriety)

 

2. Individual counseling as needed, required by treatment plan or authorized by the Drug Court Staff (DCS)

 

Phase 4: Aftercare (minimum of 12 weeks)

 

1. One hour substance abuse/stress management groups one time per week (focused on cognitive behavioral relapse prevention approaches to abstinence and sobriety)

 

2. Individual counseling as needed, required by treatment plan or authorized by the Drug Court Staff (DCS)

 

Phase 5: Extended Care (minimum of 24 weeks)

 

1. One hour substance abuse/stress management groups one time every other week (focused on cognitive behavioral relapse prevention approaches to abstinence and sobriety)

 

**family members are welcome and encouraged to attend

 

2. Individual counseling as needed, required by treatment plan or authorized by the Drug Court Staff (DCS)
